Adam Larson, Owner
Adam has been in the construction industry for 25 years, framing both net zero and passive house buildings. He has owned and operated two companies, Green Door Builders and Lahnert Larson Design Fabrication. He also contracted with Habitat Studio and Workshop for 15 years, contributing to the delivery of their esteemed architecture. Adam is trusted throughout the industry for his experience in designing and building architectural components. Alongside his industrial experience, Adam is a talented craftsperson who designs and builds studio grade furniture.
Adam is a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter and graduate of Inside Passage School of Woodworking.
Matthias Kroller, Owner
Matthias brings a decade of experience successfully managing residential and commercial construction projects. Prior to starting Zu House, he operated Kroller Built Construction which specialized in renovations, structural and exterior work. Kroller Built developed a devoted following of clients for its quality service, craftsmanship and transparent pricing. Matthias honed his skills working in a leadership role for a mid-sized commercial construction company and at one of the most highly regarded home builders specializing in energy efficient design and building.
Matthias holds a BA from the University of Alberta, is a graduate of the NAIT Carpentry program and holds a journeyman red seal carpentry certificate. Matthias is fluent in German and is committed to delivering you a home that makes you feel Zu House.
